As a wife, mother, and salon owner, Allison embodies the mantra, “dream big and go for it!”. She opened Reflextions Salon in December 1997 and Salon Mixx in November 2010 and has been making people’s days in Lake Charles ever since. She has received advanced training in just about every salon service you could dream of: Aveda Color, balayage, makeup, bridal services, haircutting, and Aveda Technical Texture, to name a few. She lives for the smile on her guests’ faces when they see the finished product of their cut and color. An appointment with Allison means you leave feeling better than when you arrived—every time.
If you have a special occasion coming up, you are in award winning hands with Stacy. (Seriously, she won a first place best updo award!) Her specialties don’t stop there, though—in addition to being a master of styling hair for weddings, homecomings, and prom, she has a magic touch for hair painting/color and men’s cuts. Her extensive education includes advanced cut and color classes and advanced color balayage classes. Whatever you need, Stacy has your back. Her focus is on making each guest feel beautiful and confident, and we think you’ll see that the moment you sit in her chair.
Bernadette has been with Salon Mixx since 2004, but she got her real, unofficial start in the industry in high school, cutting her family and friends’ hair any chance she got. Since becoming a stylist, she has continued to build on her skills with advanced classes and certifications, including Aveda Pureformance, Aveda Texturizing, Color Magic Hair Painting, and Advance Aveda Full Spectrum Color. Her specialties include design, color, gray coverage, texturizing hair, pixies, bobs, and blondes. She loves making guests happy through not only maintaining the integrity of their hair, but actually improving it.
Tristen has been with Salon Mixx since May 2017. Her work is straight from the heart— she’s volunteered to cut hair for the homeless at Trinity Baptist Church and strives to make her guests feel beautiful and happy. Tristen lives by the mantra “Don’t be eye candy, be soul food.” Her background in customer service lends to her ability to understand the wants and needs of her guests. When you’re in Tristen’s chair, it’s like you’re with your best friend and you’ll leave feeling like your best self.
